Houston + DFW Real Estate

YOUR HUSBAND + WIFE REALTOR DUO

hello.

We’re excited to introduce ourselves.

We’re Trevin and Amber, husband and wife, left brain and right brain, logic and creativity living happily under one roof. Trevin is the analytical one. He loves numbers, strategy, and figuring out how all the pieces fit together. A Colorado transplant, he made his way to Texas and decided it was home. Good food, good people, and plenty of room to put that left brain to work. Amber is the creative counterpart. Born and raised in Texas, she brings the ideas, intuition, and vision. She cares about how things feel, flow, and come together, and she is usually the one dreaming big while Trevin is making sure it all actually makes sense. Different strengths, same priorities. We value relationships, trust, and genuine connection. We love the people we work with, and more often than not, they stop feeling like clients and start feeling like friends. The best compliment we get is when someone comes back or sends their favorite people our way. At the end of the day, we believe life is better when it is shared, conversations are honest, and the people around you feel like your people.

behind the name

GIVYN is more than a name. It is a belief system. Our brand was intentionally designed around meaning, foundation, and purpose because we believe real estate decisions should be rooted in more than just numbers.

At the center of GIVYN is IV, the Roman numeral for four. Four represents foundation, order, and direction. It appears in the seasons, elements, and directions, symbolizing the balance and structure people seek when building a life through real estate. IV reflects our commitment to guiding clients with clarity, stability, and intention.

The Y in GIVYN is the heart of everything we do. Growth comes from understanding your WHY. Whether buying your first home, investing for the future, or building generational wealth, your motivation matters. We help you move with purpose.

GIVYN Realty Group serves with intention, leads with clarity, and delivers with excellence. Built on strong foundations. Driven by purpose. Focused on what matters most, your WHY.

Frequently Asked Questions

What factors help you determine my home’s value?

We base your home’s value on objective, market-driven factors such as recent sales of similar homes, location, size, condition, features, and current market trends.

What’s the difference between earnest money and option money?

Earnest money is a deposit showing you’re serious about buying a home and is usually applied to the purchase price at closing. Option money is a separate, typically smaller fee that gives the buyer the right to back out of the contract during the option period without losing their earnest money.

Should I attend the home inspection?

We always recommend it. Attending the inspection lets you see issues firsthand, ask questions, and better understand the home’s condition so you can make informed decisions before closing.

Is a survey required when I am purchasing a home?

Not always, but surveys are often recommended, and in some cases may be required for a variety of reasons either from a lender or title company to confirm property boundaries, identify easements, and prevent surprises before closing.

What is a final walkthrough, and why is it important?

The final walkthrough is your last chance to inspect the home before closing to ensure it’s in the agreed-upon condition and any requested repairs have been completed.

When do I actually own the house?

You officially own the home once the closing process has been completed by all parties, all required documents have been signed, and the purchase funds have been recorded and finalized with the title company. At that point, ownership of the property transfers to you.
